Bonnie Schneider, a weather expert, is featured on CNN as well as HLN's different platforms. The TV show she hosts, LAST HOUSE REMAINING on DIY NETWORK was launched on March 30 2012. She also serves as on camera meteorologist, and the co-executive director. Bonnie's debut book, EXTREME WEEKEND was published by Palgrave Macmillan in January 2012. Her website promoting her multi-city book tour beginning Feburary 1, 2012 in Boston, media appearances and video chat is BonnieWeather.com [[1]] In August, 2011 during coverage of Hurricane Irene, Schneider's book was featured on HLN's popular prime time show, Special Report with Vinnie Politan Prior her work on CNN that began in the summer of 2005, Schneider has also been the Weekend Meteorologist/Special Assignment Reporter for "The Ten O'Clock News" on WLVI-TV WB56 in Boston. In Boston Schneider was the three-day reporter on special assignments who reported on the world of entertainment and lifestyle. Prior to joining WB56, she was employed as the forecaster on weekends for WFOR-TV Miami. She worked as a meteorologist and reporter at News 12 Long Island, which is a 24 hour cable news channel. WXII TV is the NBC affiliate of Winston-Salem in North Carolina. The other position she worked in was occasionally a substitute for The Saturday Early Show in New York City for CBS.
