Sadie Amara Calvano is an actor from America who has garnered fame for portraying Violet Plunkett in the CBS sitcom "Mom'. As a California native, Calvano was initially interested in gymnastics competition. But she decided later to pursue a career in acting. Her screen debut was in an episode in 2010 of the CBS show 'NCIS. She made her big-screen debut within a year on the Biographical Drama "J Edgar". She is now one of the hottest actors in recent times. In recognition of her role in the show 'NCIS', she was awarded a Young Artist Award for Best performance in a television Series - Guest Starring Young Actress 11-15 in 2011. In 2013 she was also nominated for yet another Young Artist Award for her appearance as a guest on Disney XD's comedy series 'Kickin' It'. Calvano starred in Mom's first three seasons, and was also a guest on several occasions during the fourth. The role she played in "Mom" garnered her an award called the Gracie Allen Award for Outstanding Female Actor - Rising Star in 2015.
